Happy Sunday!

This week’s prompt comes from a post in The Official Playwrights of Facebook, a group which began as a friendly group of around 300 folks and, due to some strange algorithms, now boasts more than 10,000 members, many of whom haven’t the vaguest interest in playwrighting. But there’s still a pretty wonderful core of supportive actual playwrights, and this prompt came in response to a colleague’s query.

Pretend you’re a reporter and interview your characters. Depending on the play, you might work for the Wall Street Journal, a local newspaper, or the National Enquirer. It might even be a police interrogation.

Simple? Maybe. Useful? Probably.

Happy writing.
