working you into a lather

Runner

– 15 June 2014 – Happy Sunday!

This week’s prompt is called “one from column A…” Why “A”? Because it highlights the difference between activities and actions. So, choose one from each column, two characters, 20 minutes, and write a scene.

Wait!

For fun, add at least two tactics and one exit/entrance. More, if you’ve time, but that’s the minimum. And feel free to make up your own activities and actions. If you’re really feeling ambitious, write them on index cards or slips of paper, mix up each kind (activity or action) and set separate piles, and draw one from each pile as your prompt.

Here are a few to get you started:

Sewing A needs B to stand
Studying for an exam B wants A to sing
Hiking A wants a shirt from B
Chopping B wants to leave A

Happy Writing! With many thanks to the brilliant Gavin Witt.
