I’m not recommending the linked seminar because I haven’t taken it, but that said you can learn a LOT from this article.  In particular, the section titled “Writing That Kind Of Script Begins With Understanding What Great Actors Need.” This is crucial for any playwright, screenwriter, TV writer, anyone who wants to work with actors.

If you don’t understand what an actor does – much less what an excellent actor does – you shouldn’t be writing in these fields. And if you don’t really care what an actor does…
