Good Sunday morning!

Each Sunday, I’ve been posting a writing prompt, for your delectation (and use).  I’m re-publishing the first couple of months-worth because I’ve been swamped.  Hope they’re useful!

–– 13 May 2012 ––  

Now folds the lily all her sweetness up,
And slips into the bosom of the lake:
So fold thyself, my dearest, thou, and slip
Into my bosom and be lost in me.

–– 7 May 2012 ––  This is what you do not see, when you look at me.

–– 22 April 2012 ––  You’re driving along the freeway, and for some reason, decide to clean your windshield, so you turn on your wipers, give a little spritz, and are unable to get the wipers to turn off.  Marilyn Swirsky

–– 15 April 2012 –– She felt strange and had surgery. The doctor opened her to find flocks of birds, warring armies, fires, alternate families, a man, horses, luggage packed and ready, a passionate confession, unopened presents, and dancing shoes that had never been worn. John Patrick Shanley
