I’m on more than a few listservs – you are too, I’ll bet – and one of my favorites is The Writer’s Almanac.
Quite often, having read that daily poem or the attached brief biographies colors my day, even inspires me. Some days, like the day on which I’m writing this epistle, there’s a poem that is so beautifully taut yet also open-ended that it inspires my writing.
