all things theater

I’m being remarkably fortunate.  As usual.  That’s not a brag, but an acknowledgement of my exceedingly lucky life.  So I’m not keeping up with my daily blog-writing.  Here’s why.

Kardiac Kid

Kid Simple

Springboard

Standing on Ceremony

Lombardi

The Motherf**ker with the Hat

The Screwtape Letters

Dixie’s Tupperware Party

Xanadu

The Little Dog Laughed

Will Rogers’ U.S.A.

Proof

Normal Heart

The Winter’s Tale

The Imaginary Invalid

Next Fall

The Color Purple

and

The Dark Room

StageWrights

Cleveland Play House Playwrights’ Unit

and

Hot Dogs and Physics

MOCA gala opening

Cleveland Museum of Art in the new Atrium with the new Restaurant from Doug Katz of fire food and drink

And that’s just October in Cleveland and the near suburbs.  Apologies, community theaters, I’m just not going to make it to your current offerings.  Not even going to get to all of these.

Oh, and writing THE SECRET LIFE OF BIRDS, which will be read at Dramatists’ Guild in NYC in March; rewriting VALIDATION, which will play convergence-continuum theater (see Kid Simple, above) in February; volunteering for Talespinner Children’s Theatre’s GLAM benefit; Board duties for International Centre for Women Playwrights; trying to get to rewrites on BEING EARNEST, THE RING, PEN NAME; making submissions to assorted opps; and taking walks in beautiful, beloved, glorious Cleveland-in-fall.

And this is my quiet season.

So, apologies, I may not post again for a little while, but I’ll be back.
