do this in a group, part three

Two days ago, I covered the first two steps of the writing exercises given by Finegan Kruckemeyer.  Yesterday, another.  Here’s more.


4. Exclusive of anything prior, write emotionally charged lines (one each) that would make you respond to a (any) (some) character.

Something that would make you

love them

hate them

feel sorry for them

remember them

forget them

If you want to go for the hat trick, write a line that encompasses all of these things (the brilliant Michael Oatman did).

And, for the heck of it, why not play do the Hemingway game,

an entire story in 6 words.
